THE ARMY OF THE LORD

When the world thinks that it's over, When it seems there is no way out, Look up to the heavens, The God who fights for His people Is still upon the throne! To ignore the power of God Is to close your eyes to the truth, It is to stand against the One Who created heaven, earth, And all eternity. Whoever comes against God's people Doesn't know who they're fighting, For there is a heavenly army Marching on behalf of His people. He makes the impossible happen, He can turn the night into day. When His people call upon His name, Heaven responds with power and glory. We don't have to be afraid, We don't have to turn away. If God is standing with us, Who could ever defeat us? WHOEVER FIGHTS AGAINST GOD WILL NOT PREVAIL! WHOEVER TRUSTS IN THE LORD WILL STAND! HE IS OUR SHIELD, OUR PROTECTION, HE HOLDS HIS PEOPLE IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND! WHEN THE BATTLE COMES, HE WILL SUSTAIN US! WHEN FEAR ARRIVES, HE WILL KEEP US SAFE! THE ALMIGHTY GOD WILL NEVER ABANDON HIS OWN! HE HONORS HIS SERVANTS! GLORY TO OUR GOD! He made fire rain down from heaven, He made the impossible come to pass. When no one could see a way out, His mighty hand began to move. The day may turn into darkness, The waters may rise up high, But whoever puts their trust in the Lord Has a God who will never cease to guard them. Lord... Bless Your people, Guard Your children Who put their trust in You. When we are weak, Be our strength. When we are surrounded, Be our way out. Honor Your servants, Lord! Lift up those who have fallen! Strengthen those who are weary! And show us that You are with us! Not by our strength, Not by our own power, But by Your mighty hand We will stand! If God is for us, Who can stand against us? He fights for His people And He will never forsake His own! GLORY TO THE LORD!
